Everyone else seems to be a fever this New Year ... Summaries and stuff. And for me it is new, it could not come at all. Not because 2010 was so cool (although, yes - it was the best of all so far), just because this year, get rid of all the teen and it made me, frankly, frightening.
Does this mean that you have become wise, to behave responsibly, such and such? Because as such, I am not I want to.

the way the first time since hmm ... no I do not even know, but I have a genuine motivation to make a New Year's resolutions and their implementation as soon as possible. Yes, this is the time, I think.

Happy New Year!

"Reminders IN PRACTICE Aikido - Ueshiba Morihei O-Sensei

AIKIDO - Way of the Spirit of True

Dear All,

"reminders in practice Aikido" a set of six principles forming the foundations of the process of training in aikido. Have been formulated by Sensei Ueshiba Morihei in 1935.
most important - from my perspective BUDO practice - is the fourth point, which is that:

"The instructor teaches only one small aspect of martial arts. Each practitioner has - through constant practice and training - you discover it's versatility. "

presented quoted above fully describes my position on the Way BUDO:

training, daily practice is the key to understanding the essence of the Way of martial arts. None of the two-day training signed by well-known commercial name does not replace the daily practice, in which the forging of both technical skills and BUDO SPIRIT ....

That is why my BUDO is far from any commercialism ....

PS. Point three " reminders in practice aikido " provides that:

"Training should always lead in a pleasant and joyful atmosphere ... "

Review: Jacek Mendyk -" Toyotomi Hideyoshi "Series: The Great Warriors of Japan

oi M Dear,

book by Jack Mendyka " Toyotomi Hideyoshi" (Series: "Great Warriors Japan) is a unique position.
A study of historical integrity, is in fact a great historical essay. The author makes a huge effort, because without ambition fiction can inspire and draw the reader. Mr Jack's writing style Mendyka is a perfect example of a historical essay, the highest quality scientific publications.
book contains a wealth of references to historical sources, refers to a recognized scientific achievements for a description and analysis of a Toyotomi Hideyoshi, a man descended from a commoner, who was the first great leader of the Military not only managed to integrate Japan , dzielnicowo broken, but he challenged China and Korea ....
Toyotomi Hideyoshi is a figure of at least controversial, however, by the facynująca, both as a military leader, politician and a man of his era. The author refers to the sources epistolograficznych - quite a rich resource containing a list of Hideyoshi to appeal to different people. Superbly presented
historical sources with only pure fiat comment author allows the reader to independently evaluate the proposal to draw characters.
journalism performed by Mr. Jack Mendyk is free from teaching and now a simple interpretation.
author suggests rather Hideyoshi's biography claims citing reliable sources, or the wider context historical conditions. The author inspires the reader to their own thoughts, avoiding the administration of ready-made solutions and interpretations.
In my opinion, this is a great asset to the publication.
Form Toyotomi Hideyoshi, what emerges from the pages of a book Mr. Jack has a real clarity Mendyka, extreme emotions, the determination that pushes him to achieve more ambitious objectives, but less and less viable.
Toyotomi, on the one hand it is opinionated upstart, who reached the highest honors with manipualcje, intrigue, and the principle of "the end justifies measures ", but on the other hand is an ambitious visionary, a pragmatist vision possessed the size of the Empire, which built not entirely with himself in mind as the hegemony .....
Toyotomi also experienced the tragic fate of the father losing his beloved son, who after this event will never recover their psychological balance, is also a faithful vassal of Oda Nobunaga and the avenger, in honor of their Lord, commanding the highest virtues of the Samurai .. ..

And that tells Mendyka Jack Lord's work.

all enthusiasts Land of the Rising Sun and the samurai culture in good conscience recommend it.

Review: Agnieszka Kozyra -" Zen "

Dear All,

Agnieszka Kozyra is one of the largest autorytetóww Poland in the understanding of a wide conceived Culture of Japan.
Below book review by Prof. A. Kozyra " Zen philosophy." Review published in the Gazeta Wyborcza. "
For my part, I noted that the book by prof. Agnieszka Kozyra is undoubtedly one of the most interesting theoretical work devoted to Zen Buddhism has ever appeared in the Polish language.

respectfully

Darius Wyspianski

" PHILOSOPHY OF ZEN"
Agnieszka Kozyra

If you find by a man who knows he does not say a word - not keep silence! - Says one of the sayings of Zen. Wisdom? Gibberish? Poetic paradox? Zen is one of the most mysterious spiritual and religious phenomena East. Commonly in the West is associated with meditations for achieving inner freedom and enlightenment, they rarely say that Zen practice requires iron discipline, and the decision to exercise the spiritual is sometimes a matter of life and death - training sometimes ends in serious mental illness, so. Zen's disease. So how come closer to the Zen?

known in the West there are many studies on this stream of Buddhism - almost all posts operate the language of poetry, build around a Zen aura of mystery (even to develop an outstanding scientific DT Suzuki). Does this mean that rational thinking is doomed to the phenomenon of Zen to surrender?

In his wonderful, unique book, "Zen philosophy" Agnieszka Kozyra proves that it does not. The Zen emphasizes that words and concepts is often a trap, in which flows into the human mind. They immobilize the reality, that is something that by nature is in motion. Similarly, critical thinking about language can be found in Chinese Taoism, and European philosophy of Heidegger. Writes Agnieszka Kozyra, Zen does not reject logic and reason, but it points out the necessity of being exceeded.

task that the author has done, borders on intellectual juggling - not losing sight distance to the Zen philosophy, told about the Zen's. Philosophy seeks to answer the question of reality - what is it? Zen gives, according to Kozyra, the clear answer to this question - the reality is Emptiness. This emptiness is the absolute negation, because it negates not only affirmation, but also a negation of negation, and therefore can not be objectified. That which exceeds both the existence and nonexistence, it must include them in himself, and so it is absolutely contrary to the identity of being and nonexistence. " This reasoning can be difficult for the Western mind operates the opposite, exclusion. Buddhist emptiness as nothingness Heideggerowska is not a vacuum - it contains within it all, and what is the point of view, our logic is not compatible, like life and death. It is worth noting that it is often regarded in Europe as a hermetic Heidegger is one of the most translated filozofóww western Japan.

thirteenth-century Zen master Dogen stated: "Knowledge is to know the ways of the Buddha himself, and knowledge of oneself is tantamount of forgetting about myself. " This saying clearly reflects the logic of paradox, which operate the Zen masters. This

born in China and developed in Japan called the current message of Buddhism is beyond words, since the purpose of his teachings is the man with the precipitation patterns of perceiving reality, awakening. The Zen experience, therefore, shall be submitted to the theory, puts a premium on silence, but at the same time gives a man the absolute freedom of inquiry for the truth - Emptiness. Rational cognition can be so valuable, important on the road to enlightenment, because this road is the path of mindfulness, and the road crossing and change.

What-is Pathologic Adenopathy

- that is the basis of ethics in the practice of Karate / DOJO-KUN as a base of ethic in Karate

Dear All,

would like to present the king Threads essay by Sensei Paul A. Walker (USA), the holder 4 DAN in KARATE FOR , featuring more than 25 years experience through the practice of martial arts. Sensei Walker currently leads his own school of Karate.
Paul A. Walker presents in an accessible form of understanding the concept of "DOJO-KUN , the absolute foundation of building ethics into practice martial arts. " DOJO - KUN" is a set of basic principles defining the canon of standards of behavior in the dojo.

"DOJO-KUN"
Paul A. Walker
(http://ezinearticles.com/?The-Five-Core-Ethics- of-the-Martial-Arts & id = 899246 )

Many martial arts schools around the world promote a philosophy of self-improvement as well as an expected standard of technical skill. When you think about it, it is the philosophy rather than the technical skill that should influence every practitioner's daily life.

The martial arts philosophy, or at least the traditional karate philosophy, is called the Dojo-Kun. The Dojo-Kun is simply a five point ethical guide for training in the martial arts and for behavior in your everyday life and is sometimes called the "Student Creed" in English. The traditional karate ethics are often translated as:

· To strive for the perfection of character

· To follow the paths of truth

· To foster a spirit of effort

· To honor the principles of etiquette

· To guard against impetuous courage

In many traditional karate schools these precepts are chanted at the beginning and end of each lesson in Japanese, and in other schools in English. In some schools there is no chanting at all, just a posting of the principles on the dojo wall and other schools invent their own "Student Creed."

I'm not here to tell you which way is right or wrong, but what you should do when choosing a martial arts school is ask yourself whether the core values of that school resonate with your view of life and your moral ethics. After all you are exposing yourself and your family to a very emotive venture by beginning your karate journey. A conflict of moral values is likely to "Dim Mak" (deliver a Death Touch to) your involvement in the martial arts from the very beginning.

The Dojo-Kun's precepts can offer a very simple template for following a virtuous path and for reaching your potential in everything you do and for being a good citizen. It's up to you to decide how this philosophy fits in with your own ideals and ethics. Most people find these five core ethics to be something that they can relate to on an intimate basis; some people don't place much value on the philosophy of the martial arts and are in your karate class alongside you for very different reasons such as self-defense or basic health and fitness. The phrase "each unto his own" is definitely applicable here.

Essentially there are many other paths to self-realization and understanding of the greater world around you. The martial arts simply offer a valuable template for beginning to understand yourself and others through understanding movement, power, speed, timing, energy, tension, relaxation and harmony. It is a beginning in what can be a long and extremely rewarding journey....."
