ITO ITTOSAI KAGEHISA (1560-1653) the legendary Samurai, Master Sword, founder of the school fight ITO RYU (Itto Ryu). The essence of the methodological assumptions Master Ittosai school was the focus on the simplest, most effective techniques and spiritual aspects. I would like to remark, ITTO RYU has inspired the following Kenjutsu schools:

Mizoguchi-ha Itto-Ryu
Tenshin Itto-Ryu
Kogen Itto-Ryu
and others...

My own "Kenjutsu-Ryu System" was also inspired by ITTO RYU technical, ethical and philosophical aspects.
