Mastering the basic forms and their constant repetition is a reflection of the philosophy of " Kaisu About KASANERU" ( by repeating Improvement "). But the essence of the development of the Adept is not based solely on the duplication model, but on building on the basis of well-internalized patterns own creative solutions, important from the perspective of their application in a hypothetical confrontation (even practiced in the forms of training " Kumite" in the session " Combat Kenjutsu )

The system of "Kata" is a base of development in traditional Budo way. From the perspective of "Kenjutsu Ryu System" Kata are the base of building technical background and way of shaping Attitude Towards the correct practice. The systems of "KATA" are a natural way for developing the soul and strong psychological background of an Adept.
I agree with AIKIDO Master Prof Taitetsu Unno,  The system of "KATA" is very good point of beginning, developing and forging psychological, physical and spiritual traits which are crucial from the perspective of growing up in "Budo-way".
On the more advanced stages of Budo career, "KATA" are base of individual creativity which allows to led to the highest level of professionalism and efficiency....
